The Nook

At Leeds Beckett Library, a new area called the Nook was created in order to provide a chilled space for students - where they can hang out, decompress, and take part in crafts like origami and colouring in.

A large chalkboard was painted onto a wall of the Nook, and I was delighted to be able to paint a border around it! I aimed to emulate the theme of mindfulness, while also matching the provided colour scheme of greens, blues and oranges, and opted for a koi pond theme.

This was my first mural, and I had a blast!
